Paige Musical Products Moves to the Smoky Mountains!

As a proud Michigan native, Bryan Paige has always believed in supporting his local community—creating jobs, building opportunities, and keeping production close to home. Alongside his father, Ralph Paige, Bryan opened a tool and die shop in Litchfield, Michigan, where the very first model of the Paige Capo was invented. What began as a small family workshop quickly grew into a dedicated manufacturing facility, shipping innovative, high-quality capos to musicians across the globe.

While Michigan will always be the birthplace of Paige Capo, Bryan and his wife Lisa found themselves increasingly drawn to the music-rich culture of the South. Over the years, countless trips to Nashville and surrounding areas allowed them to form lasting relationships with musicians, festival organizers, and industry friends. Bluegrass festivals, late-night jam sessions, and the warm welcome from the musical community planted a seed for something new.

Their travels also brought them to the breathtaking Smoky Mountains—a place where the natural beauty is rivaled only by the depth of its musical heritage. The region’s close proximity to Nashville, along with its vibrant local music scene, made it the perfect place for Paige Musical Products to write its next chapter.

In August 2024, the Paige family made the leap—moving both their manufacturing shop and their home from Michigan to the mountains of western North Carolina. Today, every Paige Capo is proudly made in their new Appalachian facility, where the team continues to combine precision craftsmanship with a passion for music.

Though their surroundings have changed, their mission remains the same: to serve musicians everywhere with the innovative, reliable, and high-quality capos they’ve trusted for decades. From the heart of the Smoky Mountains, Paige Musical Products looks forward to building even deeper connections with the Nashville community, the Bluegrass world, and players of all styles around the globe.
