Bryan Gregory Used on a 12 string Taylor 555. Works great. The strings are held in place but can also be tuned while the capo holds them down. Much better sound than any other capo I’ve tried … especially on higher frets 5/6/7. I found that “latch side up” works better. (2) look at the string pairs to confirm that each each separated. Each plastic block has two grooves and if the strings are bunched together, they’re sharing one groove which gives dead strings. It isn’t the fastest set-up. You have to practice and look at the strings for a moment. Sound, when all aligned, is outstanding! Especially if you finger-pick 12 string guitars
