I’ve been using the Paige Original ETI since 2022, and it’s been a rock-solid companion. When I picked up a new guitar with a custom fretboard radius and wide string spacing, I went searching for the perfect match. I demoed an Elliott Elite—beautifully made and engineered to impress—but to my surprise, it didn’t quite deliver the sustain and clarity I’d come to expect from my trusty Paige.
I’ve always been a little skeptical of how much difference capo padding could actually make. Rubber tubing is the industry standard, after all—but over time, I began to notice how even the slightest pressure or damping from it seemed to dull the natural resonance of my guitars. The threading is incredibly smooth—no grit, no binding, just a clean, precise feel that makes fine adjustments effortless. And it fits beautifully over the volute of my Gallagher G70 Custom, which is no small thing. It’s the kind of detail you don’t notice until you’ve used gear that doesn’t get it right.
For someone as picky as I am about tone and fit, the PaigePro delivers in every way. It’s rare for something this functional to feel so thoughtfully built.

I’ve been using Paige capos for many years now and have always appreciated the price and quality. The new PaigePro is no exception, what an awesome product. Been using the Clik ETI capo on my Blueridge BR-160A and it sounds great. Out of curiosity, I got my old ’62 Gibson out to see how it worked. I tried it with the capo on frets 1-5. The sound and sustain with the capo in any position is just unbelievable. I always thought to use a capo you had to sacrifice tone and volume. Not anymore. Thanks Paige Capo!
