I’m using the capo on a Northfield Wavelength Octave Mandolin which has a deep, soft V-neck and a fingerboard radius. The capo is well-designed, well-machined and surprisingly small and lightweight. I ordered a custom radius and it works great. The cradle keeps the capo centered on the neck. The screw allows for fine tuning the amount of pressure. This s a great capo.
The capo sounds very good! I ordered the custom one for 20" radius fretboard and it fits perfectly. No buzz. My instrument is a custom built Nyberg octave mandolin and I knew the exact radius. I tried other capos and always got some buzz.
Wide banjo capo with the thicker tubing works really well on my Martin 10 string Tiple. Thanks, Steve.
Great except you don't offer curved version. Using on Irish bouzouki with radiused fretboard. I wouldn't have to tighten as much with a curved version of the same capo. Well made and great product otherwise .
